Your 2 hour guided walk, will allow you to take in our history, architecture, monuments and spectacular scenery whilst learning more about the people and wildlife that inhabit Inverness.
If you have any local ancestors or associated family ” Clan” names, let Cath know when booking and see if she can find any history about them!
The recent Outlander TV series has drawn many people to Inverness, The Highlands and Scotland as a whole, to find out the real history behind the scenes. Several of the sites and stories in the series have come directly from our local history. Unfortunately, Jamie Fraser is not included!
A recent survey by a national house seller, saw Inverness come second in ‘The Happiest Places to Live in Britain.’ Find out what makes Inverness such a great place to live and why Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands, is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe.
Alongside the guided walk, there is also a “City Safari Treasure Hunt” for all the children on our tour. This engages the children in the walk and gives them a memento of their time with us. Guided walks are suitable for adults and children of all abilities.
