The tour itinerary is dependent on time of day and access to venues. We may also be able to add something that we think our guests might like to see such as a choir, a Highland Wedding, Scottish music etc.

The walks are provided by local, English-speaking people who know a lot about the history of the local area and the City as it is today. We are willing to answer your questions or to assist in retrieving information where possible. We are also more than happy to provide suggestions for local restaurants, shops and bars.

The walk takes approximately 1.5 hours.

The walk is mostly on flat ground. There are however, steep inclines on all approaches to Inverness Castle. On one route to the castle there are also a few steps, which we would avoid if we had any guests with an accessibility issue. We generally ask our guests if they have any conditions which may prevent them from using the steps before we depart. If you would like to take the route with no steps please tell your guide.

Bookings must be done online. Due to licensing and safety issues, we are not allowed to sell tickets on the street.

Guests are responsible for their own actions. We ask guests to be mindful of all their actions, especially when crossing roads and bridges. Use common sense at all times. Inverness is a relatively safe place but as a guest it is your responsibility to keep your belongings and valuables safe and out of harm. We do not accept liability for loss of money, phones or valuables.

We take no responsibility for damage to participants on tour or third parties or any financial loss or damage to properties. Walk Inverness waives any claims for damages made against them.
